Silke Spodzieja - Contemporary abstract art in acrylic
I become inspired by nature and my future paintings present themselves to me daily; when I am out for a walk, while looking at a photo, even while watching TV. My husband asks me all the time how I come up with “this stuff” and I tell him I see colour and shapes before I see what is actually before me. This is why abstracts come naturally to me. I like to push the boundaries with every painting. Each painting teaches me something new about myself and about my art. I have come to realize that there are not enough days to ever learn it all. For now I am just enjoying the ride.
My work is a blend of abstract form mixed in with layers of vibrant colours. My paintings have been described as . . . "a different kind of abstract painting. Beautiful and attractive to a wide range of audience."
